About Me:: Director of Web Services, Hamilton College
I am the director of the Web development team at Hamilton College. This is my primary job. My team does all of the Web programming at the college, including updating and maintaining a complex custom content management system (SiteManager) and a full-featured Web portal (My Hamilton). We manage over 150 Web applications for the college. As a Director, I am also a member of the management team for Information Technology Services at Hamilton.

In 1999, I started a Web development and hosting company that focuses on making it possible for small-to-medium sized businesses to have full-featured Web sites. My company mostly subcontracts for advertising and marketing firms in the Syracuse and Utica (New York) areas. In 2007, business grew to the point where I could no longer handle the day-to-day management of the company. I am currently in the process of merging the Web development functions of the business with M. Brockett Creative Group. The hosting responsibilities will remain with tSpark.

This is a new position that is the result of the merger that is in process. I am responsible for Web development activity at M. Brockett, largely revolving around eCommerce and database applications. In addition to doing the development, I will be managing subcontractors that are doing Web programming work.
