Probably take you two lines in CF8:

cfpdf action="merge" source="file1.pdf,file2.pdf" destination="printme.pdf" ....
cfprint source="printme.pdf" printer="printer string" (then various printer settings like color, size)

Thats pseudo code but gives an idea of what you could do.

Thanks Sam,

I think I'll wait for Scorpio, like you suggested.
Doing it with MX7 seems like way too much hassle.

CF8 is the correct answer. But alternatives I've used in the past have been:

1. FDF Toolkit - http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/fdftoolkit.html
2. ActivePDF - http://www.activepdf.com/products/serverproducts/toolkit/index.cfm
