This was my first full CFUnited, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it.
My favorite sessions listed below.
Marc Eshers Automating the build/deploy process with ANT - http://mxunit.org/doc/index.cfm
Luis Majano's ColdBox Framework 101 - http://partners.adobe.acrobat.com/p16928123/
Charlie Arehart Interactive Step Debugging with the CF8 Debugger - http://partners.adobe.acrobat.com/p46412072/
Steve Nelson Building offline applications with Google Gears - http://partners.adobe.acrobat.com/p90466813/
Sean Corfield Event-Driven Programming in ColdFusion (Repeat) http://partners.adobe.acrobat.com/p29389743/ (I actually went to the original one)
and of course the Promoting CFML outside of the CFML community with Brian Meloche.
I am working on installing the latest version of Eclipse right now, so that I can get the step debugging and the ANT tasks set up on my computer. If you don't use either of these tools at the moment, I HIGHLY recomend them.
Also the Promoting CFML session went especially well, and for those that did not make it, you missed out on alot. The attendees were split up into two groups, each of which chose a target audience to try and come up with ideas on how they could be reached. Our group chose PHP developers, and the other group targeted new developers. We were actually scheduled to go for about 2 hours, but ended up spending about 3 1/2 hours before we were finally finished.
Check out the podcast on cfconversations.com, or on iTunes... NOTE: We really only brainstormed on the more serious ideas, but if someone did want to buy a CFBlimp, or make a "star wars" style movie, that would be GREAT :)
Special thanks to Liz, Nafisu, and the rest of the TeraTech team for putting on a great conference, and look forward to attending again.
