I have not met a challenge that CF cannot handle. Shame it is regarded as the "red headed step-child" of development languages. Other languages have tried to develop the same degree that CF has done. For ANY application, CF can perform. Period.
What other technologies do you use?
Not much. Don't have the immediate skills for ASP or .NET. But why? CF can handle the challange.
Still comfortable with .css, and Javascript and numerous .SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, MYSQL, and etc)
About Me:
I have worked in the IT environment for 27+ years. Started with IBM Systems development (IBM34 through 3085 and Amdahl 1500 systems -- JCL, TSO, ADSO, IDMS, and etc). Began working with the web when it was unique. ie: Gopher, etc
Developed applications for my company (DOD) using HTML and Coldfusion and saved over $15,000 per month.
