Miguel, Does Resin allow you to read PHP vars and vice-versa?
neither, .dwt extensions do not get deployed. There's no "magic button" to convert PHP to ColdFusion, and just renaming the .php files won't do it. This is not a simple task. You can follow the existing programming logic and just rewite the templa...

To further compartmentalize things.... this group is for current and formal martial arts students. One rule: no "my style- organization - sensei - master - school is better than yours" discussions. I get enough of that in martial arts forums
Depends, are you storing user information in a database?
no, keep the layout and recode the back end

Working with CF-Nuke

I've gotten hold of a version of Cf-Nuke and have decided to "rebuild" it. The major problem with CF-Nuke is security. I ran a version a couple of years ago, and was hacked almost immediately. I also want to rebuild the interface so that's it's more intuitive and easy to use...

I've gotten alot of the data exchange out of the main pages and into components, and I'm applying cfqueryparams to all of the queries as needed.

I'll keep folks posted if you're interested.

In the Job Market again

Hey all,

Due to some unforseen contracting circumstances, I've found myself on the job market again. I have 10 years of ColdFusion development experience, along with several years of MSSQLServer, HTML, Javascript, CSS, you know the usual suspects :)

I live in the Raleigh/Durham area, so I'm looking for local employment or contracts is this area. I'll also entertain out of town employment or contracts that accept telecommuters, I will not relocate, under any circumstances.… Continue

Expiring Contract

My current contract expires on Dec 31. I love budget cuts.... and cheap labor (grrrr).

Anyways, I'm looking for telecommute contracts outside of Raleigh, NC, and onsite/offsite in the Triangle area..

Merry Christmas to me... right?

Yaa, Scott, I think the other cold-fusion gp. is probaly under ground, and if they were able to be seen the guys in the long black coats would come and take them away in the middle of the night. It would put the country back in running order.

Are there any Coldfusion programmers out there located in Republic of Panama? We are looking to hire one primarily in Panama but will also look at India, Ukraine, Romania etc.

Group for people who do contract work including CF work. Typically these are individual consultants, web development agencies, etc. Perhaps a useful resource for us to chat about common issues, find other contractors for a job and so forth.
