Group for people who do contract work including CF work. Typically these are individual consultants, web development agencies, etc. Perhaps a useful resource for us to chat about common issues, find other contractors for a job and so forth.

New Knivis site to complete (Give me your feedback)

One of my primary goals this year was to launch a new website for knivis. For this new site I decided to use one of those video spokespeople. Which seemed to be a good idea but I would appreciate the feedback from others their thoughts on the video spokesperson on my new knivis site.

Building multiple revenue streams.

In these economic times we often wonder what is the best approach to ensuring our own personal financial freedom.

Then a friend told me about ColdFusion and I loved it. Creating sites with ColdFusion was 10 times faster for me. But this is not the o… Continue

Number one reason for a e-commerce site to fail

Over the last three months I have been working on an e-commerce site for a Knivis Brand Owner. Yesterday the Brand Owner asked me what was the number one reason for e-commerce sites to fail. The question came about because his client was slow to get the catalog data for the site. I believe the number one reason is marketing or lack of it. Most small e-commerce site owners do not understand that if you build it they will not come. You need to market the site both web and traditional marketing. As… Continue
