About Me:
I'm Akbarsait. I'm a software engineer specializing in ColdFusion and web application development, intranet systems, Content Management Systems. I've been in this profession since 2004. I am using ColdFusion from version 6.1 and I also have little experience on .NET. I am currently living in Chennai and working with MindTree Ltd, and previously I worked with S.i.Systems, India and I have earned Certifications on Adobe ColdFusion 8, ColdFusion MX 7 and Microsoft SQL Server. I am proud of being a Contributor and Manager for Chennai Adobe ColdFusion User Group, and as Adobe Community Champion India.

Job Description:

The position is for Development Function at Web Engineering Team, Bangalore. We work on Web applications that are featured on www.adobe.com, and also the infrastructure and tools that form www.adobe.com platform

Requirements and Responsibilities:
 Ability to adjust and respond to scheduling and/or technical changes, with the ability to analyze and communicate any increased risks and/or testing considerations resulting from such changes
 Experience and ability to quickly build rapport, and to communicate technically and efficiently with team members and project owners in the US. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are strongly required.
 Design, develop and implement new innovative features on E-Commerce website.
 Desire to build secure, high quality, scalable web applications.
 Work as a member of the technical team to translate business requirements into software design
 Create and maintain effective modular software designs following the design and coding standards
 Develop software modules using programming languages and relational databases
 Unit test the software modules to ensure high-quality delivery of code to QA
 Work with Quality Assurance to track down and fix bugs
 Work with Release Engineers to help them understand the deployment of applications
 Work with a highly dedicated team in a fast-paced productive environment.
 Expert-level familiarity with modern operating systems and browser technologies (and their known compatibility limitations).

 Proven ability to deliver results in developing enterprise E-Commerce projects, and ability to deliver complex, high

 Ability to discuss with managers architects and peers on tactical topics such integration of e-commerce applications with back-end enterprise core business systems, JMS messaging, application availability and response times.
 Experience with design patterns, and one or more of the application frameworks like Mach-II, Transfer/Hibernate/Persistence Frameworks, ColdSpring/Spring, ColdMock/JMock, CFEasyMock/EasyMock
 Experience with developing back-end services and integrating with Rich Internet Applications.
 Strong relational database skills, preferably with Oracle and PL/SQL
 Good experience with one of the following web technologies: ColdFusion 7+/JSP/J2EE.
 Experience with web servers and application servers, preferably on Unix
 Experience with unit testing of software modules prior to QA delivery to ensure high quality
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Three plus years of web development and programming experience
