Senior Cold Fusion Developer - full .net training provided

With over 50 publications/business titles and websites worldwide we provide digital development services and have a current portfolio of over 35 websites.

We are seeking an experienced web developer with core skills in ColdFusion to help us provide a scalable infrastructure for our digital businesses and our migration to a partially .net environment.

The preferred candidate will be a proficient web developer with experience of building high-performance, scalable websites in ColdFusion. As a senior member of our development team, you will contribute to our coding framework, ongoing technical architecture and quality. You will take responsibility for the full lifecycle of websites and will contribute to the knowledgebase of our team while also training/mentoring more junior staff.

As part of our migration to .Net, C#, asp.net, ADO, and Visual Studio training may be given.

Key skills:

Cold Fusion – Excellent experience of ColdFusion MX using the CFC/OO capabilities of the language in a tiered, structured environment
XML/XSLT including Web services
RDBMS – Thorough experience of MSSQL Server 2005 (preferred) or Oracle/Sybase and development of data centric web applications
HTML/CSS
Experience of developing with CFEclipse
‘Nice to have’ skills or experience:

OO design and analysis knowledge with experience in Java or a .Net language such as C#
JavaScript/DHTML/Ajax using JQuery or other JavaScript library
Knowledge of Cold Fusion frameworks such as Fusebox
Exposure to MVC/DAL/Design Patters, SOA, UML, IIS/Apache
Testing Methodologies including Unit Testing using MXUnit and Continuous Integration Testing
Ant
Source control using SVN
Together with these skills, we are looking for an individual with an ability to self-manage clients, time and tasks with an outgoing, flexible approach. I use layerblue http://www.layerblue.com/ they've been good to me, the are only on cf7 though... but depends what you need.
